Gokyo Ri to Island Peak
Nach 2 Wochen eigenstaendigem Trekking von Lukla ueber Gokyo, Cho La, Gorak Shep, Everest Base Camp und die dazugehoerigen Gipfel errreichten wir Dingboche. Dort trafen wir unseren Guide Lakpa, der uns auf den Island Peak fuehren sollte. Wir bekamen perfekte Leihausruestung. Im Basecamp angekommen, fand das Training fuer die Fixlines statt. Es war sehr sehr professionell!!!! Im Basecamp wurden wir bestens versorgt (aussergewoehnlich viel und gutes Essen). Aus gesundheitlichen Gruenden konnten wir trotz perfekter Akklimatisation dann doch nicht zum Gipfel aufsteigen. Die Betreuung durch die Organisation war sehr gut und hat uns auch waehrend unseres Individualtreks unterstuetzt. Shanta war jederzeit fuer unsere Fragen und Anliegen da und sehr hilfsbereit. Changu Narayan To Nagarkot Day Hiking
I used this trekking tour service back in January 2020. Started driving from Thamel, Kathmandu to Changu Narayan. We visited the Changu Narayan Temple first before starting the day trekking. As additional information, Changu Narayan Temple is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. So visiting it is worth the trip. The starting point of the day trek was in Changu Narayan just outside the temple. It would take about 4 to 5 hours from Changu Narayan to Nagarkot. To ease the trek, i used trekking poles. Along the trek, the trekking guide would explain to you the location around. After arriving in Nagarkot (2175 meters), i was rewarded with the beautiful views of the Himalayas. So far it was a pleasant journey.
6 Day Hike to Mardi Himal
Had a 6 Day Hike to Mardi Himal with them. Everything was well organized, even though it was one kind of short notice. Only my guide could need some more English training to be fluent. Afterward, I had a very good dinner with Raj. I would book again.

ABC trekking
I’d never trekked before in my life so Raj helped planning the ABC trek with an extra day (5 days instead of 4) to get up so that I could take it slowly. My guide was Paban and he was the absolute best. I ended up making it to ABC in 4 days thanks to my guide. He was so helpful and flexible, always close and making sure I was ok, felt ok in the higher altitudes, asked if I had any ache in my body from walking, and just making sure everything was good. I’d highly recommend Paban as a guide.

RAJ and his team made our honeymoon dreams of taking a private helicopter to Mount Everest base camp come true! Global Treks & Expeditions is an amazing company to work with and they are very reasonably priced for all tours and packages. Trek in Langtang Valley through Global Treks
Easy booking of the trek in Langtang Valley. My friend and I had a very nice experience booking our trekking trip through Global Treks & Expedition. We walked into the office from the street in Thamel and were greeted by the managing director, Raj Kumar Devkota, who was very helpful in describing the trek in detail and all its expenses. On the trek we got sick, and our guide, Krishna, was very nice and patient and helped us by offering alternative routes and plans.
Sometimes we ran into a bit of a language barrier, but as it is when traveling, patience is the way forth, and that was also how the staff from Global Treks & Expedition met the communication challenge.
All in all, we had a very good experience using Global Treks & Expedition to plan our trek, and we highly recommend others using them too.
Trek in Langtang Valley
Trek in Langtang Valley – easy booking with World Favour Travel & Tours
My friend and I just walked into the office (World Favour Travel & Tours) from the streets of Thamel and asked for help to find a trek in the Langtang Valley. We had not booked anything in advance and we wanted to trek for approximately 6 days in the Langtang area, and from that, they were able to propose a plan. The entire office was very nice when we came in. It was very easy to fix the trek, and two days after we would be on a bumpy bus on our way to Syafrubesi!
The price of the trek was reasonable.
Unfortunately, my friend and I got sick from the stomach flu in the mountains but our guide Krishna was very patient with us and made us a new, short route for our sick bodies and managed to stay for an extra day in the mountains.
The English are not perfectly spoken as stated, but we managed to communicate and again, they were so helpful.
Our guide Krishna was very helpful with talking to the locals and order the food for us.
It was really great how easy it was to make this tour a reality from one day to another in Kathmandu, without planning anything from home (but packing trekking boots).

It was fantastic and wonderful trip for us.
